Continuous Training & Distance Learning
Today, training is becoming more and more of a necessity. It has become both a fundamental vector in the fields of industry and services providing human resources development and an adequate means for upgrading companies. These two factors empower companies by improving their competitiveness. In-service training is also one of the major requirements to the Quality Standards.
The MIU training offer is strong, diversified and meets the needs of the socio-professional sectors including a constant and appropriate monitoring in order to faithfully capture business changing needs.
To achieve a successful in-service training, MIU has:
1. An excellent in-service training team;
2. adequate audiovisual equipment required for animating seminars;
3. An in-service training service with a mission of coordinating, monitoring and managing the service activities.
The Legal "Status of In-service Training programs", adopted by the Council of the University at its meeting of 12 May 2013, aims to regulate the general organization of In-service training be it at the level of modalities of organization, or at the procedures of accreditation, registration and financial modalities.
THIS OFFER IS MADE IN THREE FORMS:
STANDARD: proposed annually by MIU;
A LA CARTE: through a long list of themes proposed by MIU;
ON DEMAND: according to the needs expressed by the client institution.
In addition, this training is carried out internally or on location if the applicant institution wishes so. It is also of a short (one day a week), medium (two weeks to three months) or long durations (six months to two years).
LONG DURATION PROGRAMS
The long duration programs (DUT, LP, Masters) are trainings ranging from one to two years. They aim at specialization in specific areas and thus allow to contribute:
Either to the improvement of the skills of a person already in activity.
Or by adapting the training of the job searcher to the needs of the socioeconomic environment.
